The NAE Series reimagines traditional air conditioning by blending mechanical and evaporative cooling technologies for next-level performance. By incorporating an intermittent condenser spray feature, this innovative system unlocks significant efficiency gains without adding unnecessary complexity.
At the core of the NAE air conditioner is Navien’s proprietary Hydro-Boost circulator technology. This intelligent system automatically applies treated water to the condenser coil during cooling, enhancing heat transfer and unlocking higher efficiency when operating conditions call for it.
Rather than relying on oversized components or complex add-ons, Hydro-Boost enhances traditional compressor- and fan-based cooling with precisely controlled, water-assisted performance, delivering efficiency gains only when they provide real value.
The microchannel slab coil is automatically and intermittently misted with treated water based on system conditions.
Precisely controlled water application lowers coil temperatures, improving heat rejection and overall system efficiency.
