The fourth-generation Navien NCB700 Series takes our proven NCB-H Series further with 96% AFUE, built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, a smaller cabinet, quieter operation, improved durability and thoughtful upgrades for easier installation and service.
Homeowners get the heating and hot water performance they’ve come to expect from a Navien combi-boiler, now with improved efficiency, advanced features and unrivalled value.
.

NCB700 delivers hot water on demand with flow rates up to 10.8 GPM at a 35°F temperature rise and up to 5.6 GPM at a 67°F rise. That’s enough to run a shower, washing machine, and dishwasher all at once.
A dedicated DHW heat exchanger, water adjustment valve and mixing valve work together to support a stable supply of hot water as demand changes. Combi Pre-Heat mode keeps the boiler ready to deliver hot water more quickly when an external recirculation system is not installed.
Hot water recirculation keeps heated water moving through your plumbing so you can enjoy hot water faster.
The NCB700 supports external hot water recirculation and can be paired with NaviCirc, a simple plumbing device that makes recirculation possible without adding a dedicated return line. A NaviCirc valve installed at the farthest fixture uses the home’s existing hot and cold water piping as part of the recirculation loop.
NCB700 is also compatible with HotButton, an on-demand recirculation system that activates the recirculation pump and burner to heat water in supply lines, saving water and energy.
Combined with the NCB700’s standard Combi Pre-Heat mode, these options give homeowners more ways to reduce the wait for hot water based on their home and plumbing configuration.

Every home is different. The NCB700 gives installers flexibility to configure the system around the home while taking up less space. All five models have the same compact wall-hung cabinet measuring just 17.3 inches wide, 27.3 inches high and 12.8 inches deep.
The NCB700 can directly control up to three heating zones using zone pumps or zone valves for independent heating control across different areas of the home in systems designed for zoning. A fourth pump zone can be configured in installations where the DHW recirculation connection isn’t used.
Sporting a more powerful fan than previous NCB generations, the NCB700 supports greater venting flexibility, simplifying installation for replacement projects, tight mechanical rooms and challenging layouts.
2-inch venting up to 80 feet
3-inch venting up to 170 feet
NCB700 comes configured for natural gas, with a conversion kit included for propane applications. High-altititude homes aren’t left out in the cold: NCB700 can be installed at elevations up to 10,100 feet.
The NCB700 supports more than straightforward single-zone boiler installations. The same compact combi-boiler can work with a wide range of home layouts and heating-system designs.

Built-in controls can manage up to four heating zones, while compatible Navien zone controls can support larger zoned systems. The boiler can also work with compatible air handlers, and supports Ready-Link configurations for applications that require additional hot water capacity.
If your larger home needs more domestic hot water, the NCB700 can be cascaded with up to 15 NPE-2 condensing tankless water heaters.

This package includes the stainless steel manifold, manifold isolation valves with gaskets, DHW service valves, and DHW pressure relief valve.
Navien has been recognized by BRG as the leading manufacturer of gas condensing tankless water heaters in the United States for 16 consecutive years, and as the leading producer of gas condensing wall-hung boilers in the US and Canada since 2012.

When the NCB700 detects hot water demand, it prioritizes domestic hot water so showers and faucets get the heat they need. Once that demand ends, the boiler can return to space heating. This lets one compact appliance serve both jobs without storing a tank of hot water.
The dedicated DHW heat exchanger lets the NCB700 heat household water separately from the closed-loop water used for space heating. A built-in water adjustment valve and mixing valve help regulate flow and temperature for a stable hot water supply as demand changes.
Combi Pre-Heat keeps the NCB700 prepared to deliver hot water more quickly when there isn’t an external recirculation system. It’s enabled by default, so homeowners can reduce wait time for hot water without adding recirculation piping or a separate pump.
Combi Pre-Heat prepares the boiler itself for a hot water call, while recirculation moves heated water through the home’s plumbing so it’s already closer to the fixture when you turn on the tap. The NCB700 supports external recirculation with a separate pump and can also work with NaviCirc or HotButton configurations.
Condensing boilers recover heat from exhaust that would otherwise be lost, which also creates moisture in the form of condensation. Stainless steel offers corrosion resistance while supporting the high heat transfer needed for efficient operation. The NCB700 not only uses stainless steel heat exchangers, it introduces an improved heat exchanger assembly and seals for enhanced durability.
The location of an existing boiler, exterior walls, windows and other obstacles can limit where new vent piping can run. The NCB700’s more powerful fan supports longer allowable vent runs, giving installers more options for working with the layout of a home instead of letting venting limitations dictate where the boiler has to go.
Bluetooth gives technicians and homeowners a direct local connection to the NCB700 through the NaviLink app, while Wi-Fi connects the boiler through the home network for remote access. Because both are built into the NCB700, you don’t need a separate connectivity module.
