Navien Earns Two 2026 FacilitiesNet Vision Awards for NWP500 Heat Pump Water Heater and NFB700-C Commercial Boiler

Irvine, CA – August 28, 2026 – Navien, the number one selling manufacturer for gas tankless water heaters and condensing wall-hung boilers in the Unites States, has been recognized with two 2026 FacilitiesNet Vision Awards, with the NWP500 Heat Pump Water Heater receiving the award in the Plumbing & Restrooms category and the NFB700-C commercial condensing fire tube boiler receiving the award in the HVAC category.

The FacilitiesNet Vision Awards recognize innovation and excellence in products that contribute to the efficient, profitable operation and management of institutional and commercial buildings across the United States. More than 170 products were submitted for consideration in 2026, with winners selected by a panel of facility management professionals, Facility Influencers, FacilitiesNet award winners and members of the Building Operating Management and Facility Maintenance Decisions Editorial Advisory Boards.

“Receiving two FacilitiesNet Vision Awards is a tremendous honor and a reflection of Navien’s continuous commitment to developing solutions that address the evolving needs of commercial and institutional facilities,” said David Hoskyn, Director of Product Management at Navien. “The NWP500 and NFB700-C demonstrate how we are combining high-efficiency technology with the flexibility, reliability and intelligent controls that help facility professionals achieve their operational and energy goals.”

The Navien NWP500 Heat Pump Water Heater, paired with the ComfortCirc™ Recirculation Pump, was recognized for its integrated approach to energy-efficient water heating and hot water delivery. The NWP500 delivers a Uniform Energy Factor (UEF) of up to 4.05, helping significantly reduce energy consumption compared with standard tank water heaters. Its stainless-steel tank is designed for improved durability and eliminates the need for an internal anode rod. When combined, the NWP500 and ComfortCirc Pump communicate directly with one another, allowing the system to distinguish between active hot water usage and pump operation. This helps eliminate unnecessary pump cycling while reducing pump wear and standby heat loss.

The NWP500 features five operating modes: Energy Saver (Hybrid Saver), High Demand (Hybrid Boost), Heat Pump Only, Electric Only and Vacation. ComfortCirc Pump offers four circulation programs: Always On, Weekly, Intelligent and On-Demand. Built-in temperature and flow sensors in the NWP500 further support optimized operation and provide facilities with a solution designed to deliver energy savings, water conservation and reliable hot water performance.

The Navien NFB700-C condensing commercial fire tube boiler was recognized in the HVAC category for combining efficiency, flexibility and serviceability in a compact package designed for commercial and multi-family residential applications.

The NFB700-C features a proprietary combustion system designed to provide reliable, clean operation and a high turndown ratio that adapts to changing space-heating and hot water demands. Up to eight NFB700-C boilers can be cascaded, allowing systems to scale to applications up to 8,000 MBH. The stainless-steel fire-tube heat exchanger delivers high operating efficiency while its advanced design allows condensation to rinse the fireside of the heat exchanger during operation, helping reduce maintenance requirements and maintain long-term efficiency.

The NFB700-C also incorporates advanced controls and connectivity features designed with facility professionals and service contractors in mind. A concise 10-inch touchscreen user interface provides intuitive setup and adjustment, while an accessory gateway interface enables integration with building management systems. Built-in Wi-Fi capability further supports facility monitoring and provides service contractors with remote troubleshooting information. Together, these features make the NFB700-C a flexible solution for commercial and multi-family applications where efficiency, scalability, connectivity, and serviceability are critical considerations.

The two 2026 FacilitiesNet Vision Awards add to Navien’s growing recognition for innovative solutions designed to improve efficiency and performance across commercial building applications.
